Remnant 2 Chicago Typewriter Location and Stats

One of the most iconic weapons in Remnant 2 is the Chicago Typewriter, a traditional Tommy Gun with a big magazine, clunky reloading, and improved accuracy with repeated shots. This guide will tell you how to get the Chicago Typewriter in Remnant 2, as well as its stats and benefits.

How to Obtain the Chicago Typewriter in Remnant 2

The Chicago Typewriter is a secret weapon that can only be obtained after defeating the Labyrinth Sentinel boss and meeting Clementine, the Keeper of the Labyrinth. You will need the Biome Portal Key from Clementine to open a locked doorway to access the hidden area where the Chicago Typewriter is available.

Here’s how you can find it:

    • Start by teleporting to the Fractured Ingress checkpoint in the Labyrinth. Once you’re there, head to your right, towards the stairs.
    • Keep moving forward and stick to the right path until you come across two stone bridges. Cross them, and at the end of the path, you’ll spot a portal. But don’t go into that portal but behind it.
    • Behind the portal, you’ll notice another portal by looking below that you can jump down to.
    • Jumping down will land you on a smaller platform. There’s another portal on your left. Go through this portal and scout around for an entrance.
    • Pass through this portal, and you’ll see some rocks you can climb in that area. Climb and jump these rocks, and you’ll find yourself at a small opening that looks out over a portal. But don’t go down there.
    • Look to your right instead. You’ll see a ledge you can climb up to, and from there, you can jump across to another ledge.
    • Follow this path all the way to the end, and you’ll come across a locked door. This is where you’ll need that Biome Portal Key. Use it to open and enter a special area within Ward 13.

And there you have it: the Chicago Typewriter will be waiting for you on a bench, and as a bonus, you’ll also find the Leto Mark II Armor Set in a cargo container.

Remnant 2 Chicago Typewriter Stats and Overview

    Remnant 2 Chicago Typewriter Stats

Remnant 2 Chicago Typewriter is a beast of a Long Gun, perfect for melee fights. It’s like having a rapid-fire powerhouse at your fingertips, thanks to its huge ammo capacity and speedy rate of fire. Picture yourself mowing down many enemies without breaking a sweat. Further, the longer you keep the trigger pressed, the more accurate it gets.

The best thing is that it doesn’t come with its own weapon Mod. This means you can mix and match to find the perfect Mod and Mutator combo that suits your style. Want some suggestions? Swarm is a great pick, turning your gun into a bug-launching machine. Breath of the Desert gives you explosive energy blasts, and Song of Swords boosts your damage output, making you and your teammates hit even harder. So, you’ve got plenty of options to tailor your Typewriter exactly how you like it.

Here are the stats of the Chicago Typewriter:

    Stats Values
    Damage 10
    RPS (Rounds Per Second) 11
    Magazine 80
    Accuracy ~80%
    Ideal Range 17m
    Falloff Range 55m
    Max Ammo 320
    Critical Hit Chance 10%
    Weak Spot Damage 105%
    Stagger Modifier 0%

As it turns out, the Chicago Typewriter is pretty much a jack-of-all-trades kind of weapon, ready to tackle tight situations in the combats. If you’re in for a fun way to send your enemies packing, this is your go-to heavy gun. It’s versatile, dependable, and just a blast to use—literally.
