Remnant 2 is an action-packed shooter full of secrets, mysteries, and challenges. One of the most intriguing areas in the game is the Glistering Cloister, a hidden location in the Forlorn Coast that is part of the Awakened King DLC. The place isn’t just about the scenery; it’s home to an intimidating boss, Bruin, the Blade of the King. But there’s also a mysterious puzzle, and you’ll score a powerful ring after solving it. I’m here to give you the lowdown on how to find and complete the Glistering Cloister puzzle in Remnant 2.
Remnant 2 Glistering Cloister Location
Glistering Cloister in Remnant 2 is an optional, kinda secret area in the Awakened King DLC. To get there, you need to go to Forlorn Coast and look for a path under the massive collapsed bridge. This path is sneakily tucked away in the northeast part of the map. It’ll lead you straight to a castle where the one true king boss hangs out.
Once you’re in the Glistering Cloister, you can analyze that the area is shaped like a capital T. You’ll enter at one end of the top line, and below at the bottom of the T is where Bruin, our tough boss, is waiting. The puzzle room is on the other side of the top line. It’s pretty hard to miss – it has a grand, gothic vibe with a dark mirror on the floor and there are a couple of balconies in there too.

The puzzle room has a table with a note that contains a riddle. The riddle reads as follows:
A bird alight, Without a wing, A lauded song, No voice can sing, A branch that falls, Without a sound, Will what is hidden, E’er be found?
The riddle is quite cryptic, and it does not seem to have anything to do with the puzzle itself. It doesn’t actually tie into solving the puzzle, the real trick is to focus on the mirror in the room.
The mirror shows the room, but with a little twist – some things in the reflection aren’t in the actual room. One key difference is there’s the golden vase which you can only spot in the mirror’s reflection, not in the room itself. The vase is hanging out on the right side, near the outer wall.
To solve this puzzle, you need to shoot where this invisible vase should be in the real room, exactly where it’s positioned in the mirror. Doing this makes the hidden item, the Shaed Stone ring, drop from the ceiling. This item is very handy – it boosts your skill damage by 12% when enemies can’t see you.
Remnant 2 Glistering Cloister puzzle is definitely one of the coolest challenges in the game. And it’s not that tough to solve once you’ve got the hang of what to look out for. Moreover, getting the Shaed Stone as a reward is totally worth it. This ring is a great item to have in your fights against the enemies and bosses in the Awakened King DLC.
