Beginning on October 20, if you digitally pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, you will get immediate access to the single-player campaign of the game. Activision said in a new gameplay clip that those who pre-order the first-person shooter would get early access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign ahead of an entire week.
A new, brief trailer has been released, revealing this news and showcasing some gameplay from the Modern Warfare 2 2022 single-player campaign. Different scenes include:
- Players set up shop out front of the highland farm.
- A first-person view of a trek down a treacherous canyon.
- A nighttime helicopter ride above a bustling city.
A sniper in complete disguise lies in the grass, preparing to fire in the concluding scene of the teaser.
During the trailer, the developers informed all the awaited fans that they have an excellent chance to get into the single-player Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign instantly if they pre-order the digital edition of the game a week before its official release. However, this access is dependent on the availability of the servers and will shift with the diverse time zones of the users.
The standard Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 pre-order on Steam is priced at $69.99/£59.99. For $99.99 / £84.99, you may get the “Vault Edition,” which adds a few cosmetic items to the base game along with the first Battle Pass and 50 Tier Skips.
