How to Get Stone of Malevolence - Remnant 2

Looking to level up your elemental damage and mod power in Remnant 2? You’ve got to check out the Stone of Malevolence. It’s an awesome and powerful ring that’s kind of rare but totally worth hunting for. It can turn you into a strong force against your enemies. This guide will walk you through how to get Stone of Malevolence, talk about the cool stuff it does, and suggest which build can benefit from it the most.

Remnant 2: How to Get Stone of Malevolence

Remnant 2 Stone of Malevolence Location

Getting your hands on the Stone of Malevolence in Remnant 2 is a bit of a hunting process since it’s a random world drop. You can’t just go to a specific spot and expect to find it every time. But, I’ve got a tip to boost your chances: Head over to the Losomn region – a cool desert area with ancient ruins and sandstorms. In Losomn, there are three key spots to check out:

    • The Great Hall
    • Forsaken Quarter
    • Gilded Chambers

These places are big dungeons filled with rooms and enemies, you can use your map to locate them. Once you’re in one of these dungeons, then it’s time to explore. Keep an eye out for a chest or a boss as the Stone of Malevolence might drop from them, but it’s not a sure thing. If luck’s not on your side, don’t sweat it. You can either try a different dungeon or reset the world to start fresh. While you’re wandering around, knocking out enemies, keep in mind they could also drop the ring, though it’s pretty rare.

Remnant 2 Stone of Malevolence Effects

The Stone of Malevolence ring is like a supercharger for your elemental damage and mod power in Remnant 2. Elemental damage is any type of damage that is not physical – like setting enemies on fire, zapping them with shock, corroding them with acid, or making them bleed. And mod power is the one that powers up the special abilities on your guns. The ring has the following effect:

    • Increases mod power generation by 15% for both weapons when dealing elemental damage.

What this means is that every time you hit an enemy with elemental damage, you’re not just hurting them more, you’re also filling up your mod power meter faster for your both firearms, not just the one you’re using. This lets you use your weapon mods more often, which can be game-changing. Picture being able to shoot fireballs or lightning bolts way more frequently, that’s what you get with this ring on.

Remnant 2 Stone of Malevolence Effects and the Best Builds

Best Stone of Malevolence Builds in Remnant 2

The Stone of Malevolence is a great ring for any build that focuses on elemental damage and mod power. But some builds take the cake when it comes to making the most out of it. Here are some builds that can use the ring effectively:

    1. The Strong Hunter: This build uses the Pulse Rifle with Acid Rounds and the Enigma with Shock Rounds. Both these guns deal elemental damage with every shot, which is perfect for the Stone of Malevolence, which means that they will generate a lot of mod power with the ring. For mods, there are Bullet Storm and Dead to Rights – these can boost your damage and help you stay alive. The ring provides an endless supply of mod power, allowing you to make use of these skills constantly.
    2. The Elemental Mage: This build uses the Stormcaller and the Spitfire, which are two guns that have elemental mods. The Stormcaller comes with the Storm mod, creating a lightning storm around you, and the Spitfire has a built-in Flame Thrower mod. Just imagine delivering fire and lightning left and right. And with the Stone of Malevolence, you’ll be casting these elemental spells more often than not. This builds upon your elemental damage and mod power abilities with the help of Arcane Strike and Evocation skills.
    3. The Bleeding Assassin: This one’s for the sneaky players, you can use the Merciless and the Fang, both excellent at dealing bleed damage. Bleed damage is a type of elemental damage that causes enemies to lose their health over time. The Merciless comes with the Bloodlust mod, giving you a boost in damage and speed after taking down bleeding enemies, and the Fang has Swarm, which summons a swarm of insects that cause bleeding. You may use these mods more frequently and with more power thanks to the ring, thus they work well together. You can boost your bleeding damage and critical chance with the help of skills such as Execution and Hemorrhage.

So, whether you’re into being a gun-toting wizard or a sneaky assassin, the Stone of Malevolence can upgrade your playstyle in Remnant 2.
