    Helldivers 2: How to Get the Death Korps of Krieg Armor

    If you’ve been dreaming of marching into Helldivers 2 battle looking like you just walked off the set of Warhammer 40K, specifically as one of the grim and gritty Death Korps of Krieg, you’re in luck (sort of). Even though Helldivers 2 doesn’t have an official armor set, it does offer a close enough alternative that’ll have you look like a gas-masked, trench-trekking soldier, and here’s how you can get the Death Korps of Krieg.

    What is the Death Korps of Krieg Armor?

    As already told above, you can’t get the complete set, what the game offers is a way to craft the look using a combination of available armor pieces. These gear items fit the gas-filled nature of the Death Korps and are available in the latest Chemical Agents Warbond. The key components for this soldier form include the AF-91 Field Chemist Helmet and the CE-27 Ground Breaker Body Armor.

    All of these items are available to purchase with Super Credits from the game’s Superstore. These credits are the premium currency in Helldivers 2, earned through missions or bought with real money.

    1. AF-91 Field Chemist Helmet – It is available for 125 Super Credits in the premium Warbond. The helmet brings out the Death Korps aesthetic, with its gas mask-like design. If you’re only purchasing a single item, make it this one.
    2. CE-27 Ground Breaker Body Armor – For 150 Super Credits, you can unlock this medium armor from Democratic Detonation Warbond, which offers the Krieg style with its rugged trench coat design. The Engineering passive you get with it is a nice bonus, that boosts grenade capacity—a very fitting touch for warfare.
    3. B-08 Light Gunner Helmet (optional) – If the Field Chemist helmet isn’t enough, the B-08 Light Gunner helmet for 150 Super Credits can be another choice to mix and match for the look. You can get it from the Battle Pass.

    Remember, Helldivers 2’s Superstore operates on a rotation. So, if the armor’s not there today, wait for some time, and it’ll likely pop back up in the store soon. Typically, items rotate back into stock every 12 days, so you won’t have to wait forever. But check often so you don’t miss it.

    Once you’ve got the basic pieces, you can spice things up however you like to create your custom soldier look. The game has many other cosmetic items to provide a lot of character customization, like cloaks or additional weapons from the Chemical Agents Warbond. A lot of items align nicely with the chemical warfare themes of the Death Korps. For maximum effect, throw in the Orbital Gas Strike stratagem and watch your enemies choke in poison clouds—like the Warhammer legends would want.

    Moreover, the Advanced Filtration passive of the AF-91 Field Chemist helmet gives a solid 80% resistance to gas damage, which is extremely useful when enemies or even your teammates start filling the battlefield with chemical clouds.

    While Helldivers 2 doesn’t have the actual Death Korps of Krieg armor set the game brings in the tools to embody the relentless and grim soldiers of the powerful German forces from the First World War. Sure, you’ll need to mix and match to get the look, but with the AF-91 Field Chemist Helmet, CE-27 Ground Breaker Armor, and some strategic credit grinding, you’ll join the Galactic War with the same vibe like the German soldiers have entered the Helldivers world to destroy the Bile Titans and Devastators.
