Apple User? Then Update Your Apple Devices Instantly, Says Security Expert

You Should Need to Update Your Apple Devices Immediately
To overcome security flaw, update your Apple devices right now

BlackCloak CEO Chris Pierson said that Apple (AAPL) product users should update their devices immediately. But what is the reason for that?

Recently, Apple security experts have detected a vulnerability that causes an impact on a wide range of the company’s devices, such as iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. Not only these, but Macbooks are also not safe from this flaw means macOS Monterey, iOS, and Safari all have security holes. To quickly overcome this issue, Apple has released a few security update patches so that we will not face severe concerns in our devices. So, if you still have any pending updates, don’t waste your time and install them immediately.

Although, we have not seen or heard anything about any single vulnerability the company has noticed and strictly took action on. But, they could involve several different issues.

In an interview with Yahoo Finance Live, CEO Pierson said, “The main message to everyone is that if you have not updated your device, you are 100% vulnerable right now, so go immediately update it.”. He is urging users to install security patches straight away.

According to him, “The Colonel” is one of them. “Think about The Colonel as the heart and brains of every Apple device – that a fundamental flaw in it could allow any external attacker, used by a nation-state intelligence agency, the ability to access your entire device.” It means all your media (such as documents, videos, and photos) is at significant risk of getting attacked by this security breach. Further, even the camera is also not safe from that.

“The second is an issue with web kit,” he added more. “Web kit is the brains behind the Safari web browser. So, this means that if somebody were to go ahead and put malicious code on a website and they were to be triggered by Safari, your device could be compromised once again if you were not patched.”

Another voice has been heard: a warning has been issued by the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This year has been marked by a steady stream of stories about cybercrime, most of which have focused on crypto-related breaches. If we talk about a case, hackers stole $190 million from the Cryptocurrency Blockchain firm Nomad in the very near past.
