Jumping from the original series title to the latest Remnant 2 throws you a bit of a curveball. The first game had us cozying up to all sorts of guns for the combat. So, you’d be forgiven for raising an eyebrow at Remnant 2 tossing bows into the mix. I mean, bows? In a world teeming with creatures that seem like they’d laugh off an arrow or two?

But here’s where the Remnant 2 Crescent Moon Bow comes strutting into the room, ready to flip all those doubts on their head. You might be wondering, “Can a bow stand up to a mob of enemies or stare down a boss without blinking?” Let me tell you, the Crescent Moon Bow isn’t just a typical bow. It’s like discovering your favorite old-school band has a track that outdoes all the current hits. This weapon has the chops to make you rethink the whole gun vs. bow debate in Remnant 2. But you may find it hard to get the required items to craft this bow but this guide covers all the details you need to know.

How to Craft Remnant 2 Crescent Moon Bow

Firstly, you’re going to need something called Anamy’s Echo. But you can’t just stroll into a shop and buy it but you’ve got to earn it through a bit of ingenuity. You’ll first need the Dreamcatcher weapon and then have to use it on Nimue’s bracelet while she’s off in dreamland in her sleep. Doing so will drop Nimue’s Dream, a magical item that’ll whisk you away to a place where you can grab Anamy’s Echo. Sounds like something out of a fairy tale, right?

Now, once you’ve got the Echo in your possession, it’s time to head back to Ward 13. This is where you transform that echo of a dream into the Crescent Moon Bow. Chat with McCabe, the resident crafter, hand over the materials, and you’re the owner of a weapon that’s as beautiful as it is deadly.

Required Materials to Build Crescent Moon Bow

You might be wondering, “What items exactly do I need to gather?” Well, let me break it down for you:

    • 1 Anamy’s Echo
    • 7 Lumenite Crystal
    • 1000 Scrap

Gathering Anamy’s Echo is the real adventure here, involving dream catchers, sleeping NPCs, and interdimensional travel — basically, a normal day in Remnant 2. The other materials are more straightforward, so make sure you’ve been saving up your Lumenite Crystals and scraps. So, with a bit of legwork, a touch of magic, and a whole lot of patience, you’re on your way to crafting the Crescent Moon Bow.

    How to Obtain the Dreamcatcher

To get started, you’ll need to go through the Losomn – Morrow Parish adventure and complete the Nightweaver quest. During your mission, you’re tasked with finding three Stone-carved Dolls. Once you’ve gathered them, find the lady in the basement (yes, it does sound like the beginning of a spooky story) and hand them over to receive the Nightweaver Stone Doll.

Your next move is to have a showdown with Magister Dullain and kill him. After your victory, you’ll find yourself in a basement draped in cobwebs. Here’s where the Soulkey Tribute comes into play. Use it, and you will be transported to a dream world, a place that feels both strange and familiar. In this location, look for a room also covered in cobwebs. It’s here that you’ll need to put the Stone Doll to receive the Dreamcatcher weapon.

How to Get Crescent Moon Bow in Remnant 2

Once you’ve got the Dreamcatcher, it’s time to off to Nimue’s Retreat. After reaching there, you usually see she hangs out in a corner in Losomn. Most times, you’ll find her standing there, giving you that “I’ve been waiting” stare. If you drop by and find Nimue awake, you’ve got a couple of choices. You can either do a quick game reload or use the World Stone.

    Nimue's glowing object

When you find her asleep, tiptoe over to her wrist. You’ll spot something glowing blue—kind of hard to miss. Now, instead of the usual attack move, you’re going to use the Dreamcatcher here. Hit the attack button, and watch as you don’t actually attack her (phew!), but instead, you’ll see this cool animation where you sort of… borrow her dream.

Getting Anamy's Echo in Retreat's Horizon

The next step is to assign Nimue’s Dream to a quick access slot and use it. With that, you will be teleported to Retreat’s Horizon. Once there, keep your eyes peeled for a blue glowing stone. That is the Anamy’s Echo you are looking for. Grab it, and you’re one leap closer to your goal. With Anamy’s Echo in your inventory, it’s time to head back to Ward 13. Find McCabe and hand over the Echo, along with 7x Lumenite Crystals and a hefty pile of 1,000 Scrap. And just like that, the guy will make and give you the Crescent Moon Bow.

Why Should You Obtain the Crescent Moon Bow?

This bow comes with a unique weapon Mod known as Moonlight Barrage, that deals a lot of damage. Each arrow wraps your enemies in the Moonlight for three seconds. And any opponent caught in that Moonlight glow will kind of… burst into Moon Essence. With this essence, you get an arrow right back that patches you up, healing 5% of your maximum health.

As if that wasn’t cool enough, you also get this burst of energy, boosting your fire and reload speed by 15% for a quick five seconds, making you a whirlwind of arrows and destruction. It’s perfect for those who like to stay on the move, dodging and weaving through enemies while raining down arrowy doom.
