Today, Bethesda Game Studios shared some very exciting news for Fallout 76 players as part of the first Fallout Day Broadcast. The game will receive its first proper MMO style endgame raid, Gleaming Depths, with the December update. It was described as a mysterious underground research laboratory located in the Ash Heap where the Enclave once studied radioactive Ultracite.
Players who dare to venture into the Gleaming Depths will find out why the laboratory has been abandoned and face off against the beasts and bots that remain in the radiation-ridden lab in five challenging encounters. The Gleaming Depths will require a squad of four well-equipped Fallout 76 players to be completed. The final encounter, the Ultracite Terror, was described as the biggest boss in the game and possibly in the entire franchise. The game will also be updated to allow the crafting of four-star Legendary gear, which is certainly going to help in the raid.
That’s not all, as more MMO-style features are being added. Player Titles are made up of two parts that are earned separately and can be combined in countless ways to make your title unique. Moreover, as requested by the community, C.A.M.P. Pets are being introduced with the Gleaming Depths update. As a start, Bethesda is adding the most two beloved human pets: a dog and a cat.
