This Chinese-branded laptop features a very modular design, separating the GPU into its own discrete package with an RTX 4060.

The quest for crafting a modular gaming laptop hasn’t been very successful despite some companies trying to bring it to the mainstream market. The complex design and the cost of manufacturing such notebooks have forced laptop makers to go with the traditional designs that have everything soldered to the motherboard.
This is the reason why not even the CPU can be upgraded on most laptops and the same goes for the graphics card. Hence, once laptops reach their maximum gaming performance potential, they almost hit the end of life when it comes to future-proofing. However, the latest design introduced by the Chinese company Firebat may change this significantly.
The company prepared a much more affordable modular laptop that utilizes the GX 2.0 design for separating the GPU from the motherboard. While the rest of the components will still be soldered on the motherboard, at least the GPU could be detached, which affects the gaming performance the most.
With such a design, the Huan 16 Air gaming laptop is able to maintain an upgradeable design without introducing much weight. The Huan 16 Air weighs just 1.98kg and has a thin body, measuring just 18mm in thickness.
