Samsung is preparing to launch its highly-anticipated Galaxy S25 lineup early next year, and the devices are slated to come with numerous design changes compared to the current models. We have previously covered how the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a boxier design than the current version with flat sides. There have been various leaked images of the device surfacing on the internet, but today, we have a leaked video detailing the design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra from the front, back, and sides, giving us a clear look.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra leaked video highlights design with rounded corners and flat edges
As mentioned, leaked images and dummy units do give away the design elements, but the leaked video offers more clarity from different angles. A Reddit user shared the secret video of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, highlighting the design changes we should expect from the company. The Reddit account has now been deleted, possibly because the person wanted his or her identity to remain anonymous.
The post was shared with a comical note that the device was “definitely” a Galaxy S24 Ultra, but those following the news state that the device’s rounded corners resembled the leaked renders of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. While it all boils down to personal preferences whether you like sharp or rounded corners, we believe that the latter gives the device a softer look and feel.
We are not sure if the leaked video of the Galaxy S25 Ultra shows an early production unit or a prototype of the device, but the design of the device can be clearly seen. Regardless, the video does give us a clear look with flat sides like the Google Pixel 9 and the iPhone 16. You can check out the post here for more details on the design of the device.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is reported to be slimmer, possibly competing against the likes of the iPhone 17 Pro models, which will launch in September 2025. This time around, Samsung will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite series of chips, which means that the performance differences with the A18 Pro could be minimal. We are also expecting the device to boast 12GB of RAM for the base variant, while flagship models could come with a higher RAM count.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also reported to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, which is slightly smaller than that of the iPhone 16 Pro models. The device will also come with Android 15 out of the box, which will be a major plus, as the device will get the new features on day one. Samsung is also moving towards a Titanium finish, much like the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models.
Judging by the video, the rounded corners are not as round as the iPhone, which means that Samsung chose a design that sits between its current variant and the iPhone. We believe that the device could pull off the look with One UI 7 and the Galaxy AI features. We will share additional details on the device, so be sure to stick around.
