Intel’s newest “budget-friendly” Intel Arc B580 “Battlemage” GPU has become the next attraction for mid-range consumers as demand soared massively.
Intel’s “Mainstream King” Arc B580 GPU Has Made a Massive Comeback In The dGPU Segment, Out of Stock At Major Retailers
Team Blue’s latest GPU release is apparently a fan favorite now, as the company has managed to generate tremendous demand for its Arc A580 “budget” GPU. Despite the discrete GPU segment not performing well for Intel, the company has managed to pull off a great end to 2024; according to The Verge, the Arc A580 SKU is almost sold out at every major retailer, with an apparent “supply shock” ineffective. Intel says that they are working on fixing the supply-demand situation:
Demand for Arc B580 graphics cards is high and many retailers have sold through their initial inventory. We expect weekly inventory replenishments of the Intel Arc B580 Limited Edition graphics card and are working with partners to ensure a steady availability of choices in the market

For those still living under the rock and not aware of Intel’s Arc B580 GPU, our exclusive review categorized it as the next “Mainstream King,” given the exceptional price-to-performance ratio you are getting out of the model. At just a price tag of $250, the Intel Arc B580 manages to tackle counterparts such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, and to our surprise, Team Blue managed to nail the release of the first Battlemage SKU, and this is being reflected with market performance.
Navigating marketplaces such as Newegg and Amazon, we can clearly see that SKUs, especially Intel’s “Limited Edition” models, have run out of stock. In some available listings, the prices are highly inflated, showing that the demand for the SKU is indeed quite high. Given that Intel has announced that it will work on fixing the supply situation, we can anticipate that the SKUs will be readily available as soon as next week.
It is indeed great to see Intel performing well in the dGPU segment, given that the company doesn’t have a great track record with its previous releases. We do hope that the upcoming Battlemage SKUs follow the same trend. With the debut of technologies such as XeSS2, Intel’s dGPU ecosystem is only going to move up from here.
