Intel’s Arc “Battlemage” B580 GPU has been listed across multiple retailers, starting at an initial price of around $250, marking the debut of a new budget segment contender.
Intel Arc B580 “Battlemage” GPU Listed At Same Price As Arc A750’s MSRP, Features More VRAM
Rumors about Intel’s Arc Battlemage B580 GPU have been swirling for quite some time now, and it looks like the SKU now seems to be an official one. Numerous websites have started to list Intel’s Arc Battlemage B580 “Limited Edition” model, ranging from $246 to $260 (via momomo_us), leading to an ASP (Average Selling Price) of around $250. This marks a decent rise in pricing from its predecessor, the Intel Arc A580, which debuted with an MSRP of $180 but at the same price as the Arc A750’s MSRP, so it will be interesting to see what sort of response the Arc B580 sees.

It looks like the listing of Intel’s Arc “Battlemage” B580 has shown Team Blue’s commitment to the discrete GPU segment. Despite previous rumors of a potential dGPU business “fall-out,” Intel does seem to be ready to make a comeback, starting with a rather “low-to-mid” end release.
Previous rumors have indicated that the Intel Arc B580 is set to feature the Intel Arc Xe2-HPG architecture, along with decent upgrades over the older Arc A580 GPU. Here are the rumored specifications of the SKU:
- 12GB 192-bit GDDR6
- Battlemage BMG-G21 GPU (20 Xe Cores)
- Intel Xe2-HPG Architecture
- 2850 MHz Max Boost Clocks
- Intel Xe Super Sampling (Intel XeSS)
- Intel Xe Matrix Extensions (Intel XMX)
Whether the newly released Intel Arc “Battlemage” B580 GPU is a decent generational upgrade will be decided once the SKU officially gets into the hands of credible reviewers.
Interestingly, ASRock has already unveiled custom AIB models of the Intel Arc B580, featuring the ASRock Intel Arc B580 Steel Legend OC and the ASRock Intel Arc B580 Challenger OC variants, which certainly do look elegant.
In terms of the release dates, Intel plans to unveil the complete lineup by the end of December, ahead of the next-gen launches by competitors such as NVIDIA and AMD.
