Apple’s M4 MacBook Pro, Revamped Mac Mini, And 24-Inch iMac Launching “Very Soon” As It Invites Media Personnel For Hands-On

Apple is gearing up to launch various Macs with M4 chip refresh, and it appears that the release will be sooner than expected. It was originally speculated that the M4 MacBook Pro, revamped Mac mini, and the 24-inch iMac would be announced on November 1, but the iPad mini 7’s early release stirred up rumors of an early Mac refresh. Mark Gurman is now claiming that Apple will launch Macs with an M4 chip “very soon,” potentially on Wednesday next week.

Apple will launch the new M4 MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac later this month, possibly next week

We are expecting Apple to announce the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with different variants of the M4 chip. The base model will come with an M4 chip, while the higher-end models will house M4 Pro and M4 Max chips for better computational and graphical performance. In addition to this, the company is also expected to announce the new M4 24-inch iMac with the same design as the current model.

We are most excited about the M4 Mac mini, which is expected to undergo a major redesign. The machine will be smaller from all fronts, giving it a slightly smaller form factor for better portability. The new Mac mini will include the M4 chip for the base model and the M4 Pro chip variant will be marketed as the higher-end model with bumped-up specifications. Gurman claims in a post on X that Apple will “very soon” launch new Macs with an M4 chip.

In line with what I’ve been reporting for a while, Apple will very soon launch its new Macs. There should be some hands-ons outside of Cupertino and online video. I expect the M4 iMac, MacBook Pro, revamped Mac mini and USB-C accessories.

The analyst also claims that the company is inviting select media personnel at different appointment times on 30th October. The media personnel are possibly invited to test out the new products and not for the video-based event. Gurman states that the new products will be announced via press releases and videos on Apple’s official website and YouTube channel.

It was also recently pointed out by Sonny Dickson that Apple is planning to launch the redesigned Mac mini as soon as this week, but it appears that the announcement could stretch to later this year. The tipster also claimed that the new Mac mini will feature 5 USB-C ports compared to 2 USB-C ports on th current model.
