The news was shared by analyst Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter, briefly stating that the company has been “evaluating” the “idea of making an Apple-branded TV set.”

Apple’s decision to launch its TV a decade ago was capped, all for a good reason, as there were limited reasons to make an in-house television set with no differentiating elements from other products in the industry. Now, the company has expertise and an entire ecosystem of devices working together that can easily carry the weight of a new device.
