While most people will find this configuration satisfactory for their daily use, having double the RAM and storage always makes things easier, but it will cost you. If you go from 16GB RAM to 32GB RAM, it will set you back by an additional $400, with the switch from 256GB to 512GB, resulting in a $200 extra.
The total comes to $600 for just two upgrades, which is the same price that customers can pre-order the M4 Mac mini for.
