Apple has just announced that it will release new Macs next week, as it teased the Finder logo on X. The news was shared by the company’s Greg Joswiak with a tagline “Mac your calendars” as new M4 Macs are on their way. This is not the first time that we have heard details of a dedicated Apple event for the Mac, but the news was not official.
Apple officially announced M4 MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and 24-inch iMac launch date
Apple is expected to launch a wide range of M4 Macs next week, including the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, the redesigned Mac mini, and the new 24-inch iMac. All Macs will be powered by different variants of the M4 chip, which will go all the way from the M4 chip to the M4 Max. From the announcement and the invite, it can be speculated that there will be no dedicated event for the devices. Instead, the company will release the new Macs via a press release, the same method which the company adopted for the iPad mini 7.
As for what you should expect, Apple will announce the new M4 MacBook Pro models, which will not feature any design changes this time around, as the company will only brag about its new processor. The MacBook Pro models will feature M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips, which will enhance the computational and graphical performance of the machines.
