All PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022 Teams List is Here

Finally, the PUBG Officials have released a statement about the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PWMI) 2022. It will be a LAN event that will take place from 11-13 August 2022. All invited PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022 teams have been officially announced and we have mentioned the complete list below. The prize pool for this biggest PUBG tournament of 2022 is set for $3 million. It is the second biggest event of PUBG Mobile after PMGC (PUBG Mobile Global Championship) whose winning prize is $4 million. This tournament is going to be totally fun, interesting and crazy because the world’s top teams will play in it. Therefore, we will see a lot of competition as well as hard and skillful battles.

As I have already mentioned, it is a LAN event that will be held in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia. Tencent has made a collaboration with Gamers8 and ESL PUBG Mobile for PWMI 2022. A few days earlier, PUBG Mobile stated on its social handles that the 2022 global event will have a $7 million huge prize pool which contains $4 million for PMGC and the remaining $3 million prize for the upcoming PMWI. From these amounts, you can understand how massive these tournaments will be.

PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022 Format

The time duration of the event is 2 weeks and Riyadh city of Saudia Arabia will host it. Moreover, Gamers8 from Riyadh has collaborated with PUBG Mobile as an event partner and ESL will work as a production partner in this competition. The Sony Xperia mobile phone production company is a sponsor of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022.

Week 1 (Main Event)

Week 1 will begin on August 11 and ends on August 13 means we will enjoy the three days of a fully action-packed main event first. During this week, all 18 invited PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022 teams (listed below) will participate, fight with each other, and will try to prove themselves and get the top positions in the overall rankings. Out of the $3 million prize pool, $2 million is reserved for the first week’s main event. All the teams will play for that money and also to take the top 5 slots for week 2.

Week 2 (Afterparty Showdown)

This week 2 will have totally different rules from week 1. During this week’s competition, the 12 teams will participate. Out of them, six teams will be from specific chosen regions, top 5 position teams from week 1, and 1 special invited one. In week 2 matches, all the teams will fight for a $1 million winning prize. The date of this Afterparty Showdown is 18-20 August 2022.

Out of all 18, the 17 teams got the invitation because they have won the tournaments from their own perspective regions and qualified for PUBG Mobile PMWI 2022. On the other hand, the 18th one is Team Falcon, this squad has received a special invite as a host country.

One of the leading challengers in this event is China’s RES team, which has won this year’s PEL Spring Season. This year, the Morph GG is representing Indonesia after taking the crown in PMPL Indonesia 2022. Stalwart Esports are the winners of both the South Asia Championship and PMPL South Asia Spring.

From American Region, Back2Back is participating in the tournament, they are the last two season winners in PMPL North America. 52 Esports have won this year’s PMPL Pakistan 2022 and have proven themselves as the world’s top competitors.

Newly formed Team Soul has taken the BMPS Season 1 trophy and now representing India in this PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 event. All other remaining teams are also the champions of their respective region in 2022 and now taking part in the LAN tournament. So, all PUBG fans from these regions are very excited and eagerly waiting to see their teams representing their countries and hoping that they will perform better and bring the trophy home.
