GMK claims that its upcoming EVO-X1 Mini PC is going to offer graphics performance similar to an RTX 2060 with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU.
GMK EVO-X1 Mini-PC will be a powerful gaming machine, which can be carried easily anywhere & the company also claims up to RTX 2060 GPU performance with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU
The mini PC manufacturer, GMK, is preparing a brand-new mini gaming PC, featuring one of the AMD Strix Point APUs. GMK calls it “EVO-X1”, which will be based on the AMD Ryzen AI HX370 processor, but there will be some differences in its specs compared to the regular version.
While 12 cores, 24 threads, and up to 5.1 GHz clock speeds will be retained as usual, GMK will introduce higher operating TDP for the EVO-X1. The Ryzen AI HX370 usually works in the 15-54W TDP range, but the EVO-X1 will have up to 70W of power unlocked. This is why GMK claims that the EVO-X1 can reach the GPU performance level of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060.
AMD Ryzen AI HX370 features a good 12-core/24-thread contig with up to 5.1 GHz clock speed. The processor uses a combination of 4x Zen 5 and 8x Zen 5c cores and is currently the fastest Zen 5-based mobile chip with 50 TOPS of NPU performance. The Radeon 890M is present onboard, which is based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture and features 16 Compute Units and a clock speed of 2900 MHz.
