Qualcomm might have inadvertently revealed that there is a more powerful version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite that might power future smartphones with robust cooling solutions. It was previously revealed that this chipset variant’s performance cores were overclocked at 4.57GHz instead of the default 4.32GHz, allowing the silicon to beat Apple’s A18 Pro in Geekbench 6’s single-core results while extending the lead in the multi-core category. Now, according to one tipster, the upgraded Snapdragon 8 Elite will be found in a device sporting a 7-inch display, which, at this point, belongs to the REDMAGIC 10 Ultra.
