Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Wonder Woman 1984 is not just coming to the theater but also debut on HBO Max the same day. That’s the biggest news for Wonder Woman fans. You don’t need to visit the theater to watch the movie but you can enjoy just sitting at home.
We are expecting the same things as many cities around the USA have shut down their theaters due to the increase in covid cases.

A press release from Warner Bros confirms that the film will be available for one month and available in theaters in international markets on December 16th. After the one month period is over, the film will play in theaters.
In her tweet, the director of Wonder Woman 1984 Penty Jenkins told the viewers to visit the theaters “where it is made safe to do so” and to watch it at home on HBO Max “where it is not.”

Unlike Mulan, Wonder Woman 1984 will not cost any extra charge beyond the monthly subscription fee. So, fans will enjoy the movie on HBO Max by safely sitting at the home.

We will provide that option to the viewers in the USA where theaters are open. We realize that a lot of consumers can’t go back to the movies due to the pandemic. So we also want to give them the option to watch this movie via our HBO Max platform.”
