ASRock & V-Color have once again set the memory overclocking benchmark with the latest record OC, pushing DDR5 CUDIMMs to new heights.
Overclocker “AKM” pushes V-Color Manta Xfinity DDR5 CUDIMM memory to 12527 MT/s on the Z890 Taichi OCF with liquid nitrogen cooling
Overclockers keep pushing the memory speed to incredible numbers and hardly a week goes by without witnessing another world record. This time, it’s again the same overclocker “AKM”, which previously broke the DDR5 memory world record by achieving a staggering 12264 MT/s.
AKM now broke his record by pushing the same memory to a whopping 12527 MT/s. The configuration remains the same, which includes the V-Color Manta Xfinity RGB DDR5 CUDIMM memory, ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard, and Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU. Both the CPU and memory were liquid nitrogen cooled just like previously.
As you can see from the uploaded result on HWBOT, the memory was able to achieve 6,264 MHz or 12527 MT/s, securing 1st position in Global Rank, World Record Rank, and DDR5 SDRAM Rank. It’s not easy to achieve this much speed as it requires quite a good amount of knowledge with respect to memory and BIOS tweaking.
ASRock seemed pretty excited about the latest results and published a PR statement, saying:
This accomplishment not only highlights ASRock’s innovative engineering but also strengthens its position as a leader in the overclocking and gaming communities.
– Chirs Lee, ASRock VP and GM
Intel also seemed to be happy about these results,
These results demonstrate how the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K Processor and the ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF platform deliver exceptional overclocking capabilities and an amazing user experience. Intel and ASRock are committed to delivering products and capabilities overclockers need to drive performance well beyond what was previously thought possible.
– Roger Chandler, Intel VP and GM
There was another record, which now sits in 3rd position by the user “saltycroissant” with a memory speed of 12350 MT/s and surprisingly, he used the same V-Color DDR5 CUDIMM memory and ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard. This shows that both the memory and the motherboard are extraordinary in pushing the hardware to their limit.
Tomson Ho, the CEO of V-Coor Technology said,
These incredible results are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our OC engineers and overclockers. It’s a perfect synergy of our high-performance memory and ASRock’s powerful motherboards, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in memory technology.
Guess, we will now have ASRock updating the official specs page of the Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard with memory OC support for up to 12527 MT/s. This is the highest any Z890 motherboard has achieved till now and the same goes for any DDR5 CUDIMM RAM kit.
