Samsung Galaxy S22 Realease Date Is Officially Announced For February

In February 2022, we might anticipate witnessing the first glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy S22 during the next major Samsung event.

Samsung MX President and Head TM Roh confirmed in a news article that the debut will take place in February, although a specific date has not yet been announced.

February 9 has been widely speculated as the rollout day, with one latest leak predicting an exact time of 7 am PT / 10 am ET or 3 pm GMT.

Samsung has not verified any of the previously reported release dates for the Galaxy S22, including one for February 25. There is still no confirmed date for Samsung’s Unpacked event yet.

As of 10 am ET / 7 am PT on Friday, January 21, residents of the United States will be eligible to purchase Samsung’s forthcoming smartphones, which will include a $50 Samsung Credit to use on other products. So far, there’s been no word on whether this will be available in other regions.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 was not mentioned by Roh in his article, but he did make a reference to the upcoming Galaxy S smartphones.

As stated in the blog post, “A new S series device will be unveiled at Unpacked in February 2022, the most significant yet. Introducing the next edition of Samsung Galaxy S: the perfect smartphone that brings together many best features of our current Galaxy S devices.”

Because of the term “noteworthy” in Roh’s comment, it seems likely that a Samsung Galaxy S22 phone will incorporate capabilities from the Galaxy Note range of smartphones.

That’s All There Is To It

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to sport a much more Note-like look than its previous, according to many reports. Galaxy S21 Ultra is rumored to have a more squared-off design, with a dedicated slot for the S Pen stylus.

Speculation is rife that this phone will have some resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Even while Roh’s words don’t expressly support these disclosures, they strongly indicate that they have been.

He explains this way: “Many of you were taken aback when Samsung failed to produce a new Galaxy Note the year before. With the Galaxy Note series, you were capable to go from gaming delight to increased performance in the blink of an eye because of its exceptional innovation and productivity.

“S Pen’s lifelikeness has many saying it’s better than writing on paper. And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about the activities you enjoy.”

Even though the S Pen stylus hasn’t been explicitly confirmed to return with the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the hint is evident.

Roh continued by stating the following: “You’ll be able to take the brightest and best images and videos you’ve ever taken with a handset when you use this device. Power, speed, and tools you’ll find nowhere else will let you take control of the day.

“The most intelligent Galaxy interface ever will let you take advantage of cutting-edge features. All the while knowing that you’re contributing to the galaxy’s most environmentally friendly biosphere. As a result, you’ll be assisting Samsung in rewriting the fate of smartphones all over again.”

This future release will be the beginning of the new line of flagship devices, despite all the marketing rhetoric in those comments.

The Galaxy Tab S8 may also be on display at Unpacked 2022, as well as other Samsung products. It’s now just a matter of waiting for Samsung to formally confirm the date of its Unpacked event in February of this year.
