The NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs is now almost confirmed to launch at CES 2025 but we still await the official confirmation from NVIDIA itself.
Inno3D representative “accidentally” leaks out information on the RTX 50 GPUs, corrects her soon after
The Pichau YouTube channel just had a very long Black Friday livestream (11+ hours), which had several conversations on PC hardware. For a brief period of time, an Inno3D representative also appeared on the live stream, which allowed us to get a sneak peek at the launch of RTX 50 series GPUs.
One viewer asked her about the launch of RTX 50 GPUs, to which she replied that the RTX 5090 would be available in three weeks. As per a viewer, she felt nervous after that statement and tried to correct her by saying that the NVIDIA RTX 50 GPUs would be officially announced at CES 2025. It’s possible that with her first statement, she meant that Inno3D will receive the GPUs in 3 weeks from now because it’s not possible to unveil or launch the GPUs before NVIDIA’s announcement.
At one point during the stream, viewers in the YouTube chat began asking about the 5090. The Inno3D representative, seemingly unintentionally and without malice, read one of the questions and replied that the 5090 would be available in just three weeks. This caused a big reaction in the chat and among the live presenters.
Realizing her mistake, she appeared nervous and tried to correct herself by saying, “Officially, the 5090 will only be announced at CES 2025 in January.”

Usually, the main GPU manufacturers, such as NVIDIA or AMD, send their GPUs to their board partners before the launch for testing and readying their own editions. Once NVIDIA launches its Founders Edition GPUs at CES, AIBs will also follow up with their own custom heatsinks and designs with factory-overclocked chips.
We have previously reported that NVIDIA will launch its flagship GeForce RTX 5090, 5090D (for the Chinese market), and RTX 5080 together, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 a month later. The company is also expected to unveil the 60-series cards in Q1 2025, but only after the 5070 cards.
