A new Indiana Jones and The Great Circle update is now live on PC and Xbox consoles, introducing multiple fixes and improvements.
Besides introducing multiple general, gameplay, missions and quests fixes, the game’s second update since launch features a slew of PC and Xbox specific fixes. Together with NVIDIA DLSS fixes that should improve performance while playing with the upscaler enabled and some Frame Generation fixes, the new update essentially introduces support for GPUs that have less than the 8 GB of VRAM required for running the game. Previously, global illumination was completely disabled on those graphics cards, rendering the game pretty much unplayable on them.
The new Indiana Jones and The Great Circle update also introduces Global Illumination improvements on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, fixing issues where shadowed areas appeared brighter than expected. These improvements are quite noticeable, judging from the comparison screenshots provided by Bethesda on its official website, together with the full update notes.
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is now available on PC and Xbox Series X and S and will launch on PlayStation 5 next year. You can learn more about one of the best Indiana Jones games ever released by checking out Alessio’s review.
