Just two days before the game’s official launch (the full version is scheduled for December 9, but owners of the Premium Edition can start playing on December 6), MachineGames has revealed the official PC system requirements for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
The game runs on the id Tech engine, which usually means a high frame rate for everyone. However, it is clear that this game’s goal is different, probably due to its cinematic nature and its focus on adventure rather than shooting. The system requirements are rather heavy as a whole, and they request hardware ray tracing support – the first time any triple-A game has demanded that your GPU includes this feature.
We already knew the game would include full-fledged path tracing, like CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 and Remedy’s Alan Wake 2. However, its ultra PT requirements are even more demanding than those titles. Gamers will need the best CPU and GPU combination money can buy, and DLSS Frame Generation will have to be coupled with DLSS Super Resolution set to Performance mode.
