Apple has released the third beta of its upcoming iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 for all compatible devices with some pretty major bug fixes and new features. As mentioned, developers now have the option to download the latest iOS 18.2 beta 3 on your iPhone through the Settings app, but you have to make sure that your Apple ID is linked to your Developer Account. Once you do that, simply head over to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Update > and download the latest build. The process is the same for iPadOS 18.2 beta 3, so follow the exact instructions.
Apple has added a slew of bug fixes and new changes in the latest iOS 18.2 beta 3. Most importantly, iOS 18.2 beta 3 is bringing a major change to the video player on the iPhone. Currently, when you open a video, it is played on a white background. It will continue to be like this until you tap the display, which will turn the background black, which is sort of like a full-screen experience. Tapping on the display now will simply hide the video playback controls.
