Intel’s Core Ultra 200S Non-K CPUs such as the Core Ultra 9 285, Core Ultra 7 265 and Core Ultra 5 225 have been listed by a Canadian retailer.
Five new Intel Core Ultra 200S Non-K desktop CPUs listed on PC-Canada: Core Ultra 5, Core Ultra 7, and Core Ultra 9 specs & preliminary prices detailed
Intel is about to come up with several “Non-K” SKUs in the recently launched Core Ultra 200S Arrow Lake lineup. The initial batch contained only 5 SKUs, including Core Ultra 9 285K, Core Ultra 7 265K and KF, and Core Ultra 5 245K and KF models. The upcoming CPUs will all be locked ones, featuring the non-K, F, and T models.
As spotted by @momomo_us, the Canadian retailer, PC-Canada, has listed five of these with their supposed prices ahead of the launch. These are:
When translated to USD prices, the Core Ultra 9 285 comes at around US$602, Core Ultra 7 265 at US$417, Core Ultra 7 265F at US$400, Core Ultra 5 225 at US$262, and Core Ultra 5 225F at US$245. The prices are close to their K and KF counterparts but do keep in mind that these prices are very preliminary and are subject to change since there is an official embargo on their launch.
Intel won’t have a Core Ultra 9 285F edition but will have the Core Ultra 9 285 as well as an ultra-efficient Core Ultra 9 285T, rated at 35W. The leaked Core Ultra 9 285 will bring the same core configuration as the K edition but will have a wider range of clock speeds, starting at 1.9 GHz for E-cores and 2.5 GHz for P-cores.
The Core Ultra 7 265 and 265F will have identical specifications but the 265F won’t have integrated graphics. The Core Ultra 5 225 and 225F will be the slowest U5 series processors and have fewer cores than 245K/KF and 235 SKUs. Both will be 10-core processors with a boost clock of up to 4.9/4.4GHz(P-core/E-core). However, the 225F won’t have an iGPU.
The non-K models won’t be overclockable and will operate at their already-established clock speeds for the P and E cores. Hence, they will be somewhat slower but will be more power-efficient as they can reach much lower base clocks. Unlike the K/KF editions, these will be rated at 65W and the T variants will be rated at just 35W. The exact date of launch for these CPUs isn’t known yet, but it is possibly around the corner.
