Today, Apple has released the fourth iteration of the iOS 18.2 beta for all compatible iPhone models. Apple has released iOS 18.2 beta 4 to developers for testing purposes
As mentioned, developers now have the option to download and install the latest iOS 18.2 beta 4 on their iPhones through the Settings app. If you are not familiar with the mechanism, all you have to do is head over to General > Software Update > Beta Updates > and install the latest iOS 18.2 beta by following the on-screen instructions. Before you download the latest beta, you have to make sure that your Apple ID is linked to your Developer Account. If it is not, you will not receive the update over the air.
iOS 18.2 is a major update considering the number of features it will bring to the table and how it will transform the user experience. We have previously reported that ChatGPT integration is coming to Siri, which will allow Apple’s virtual assistant to better understand the queries. It will also be able to handle complex tasks, and the conversation between the user and ChatGPT will remain secure and private.
Other than ChatGPT integration, Apple is also expected to bring Image Playground to the iPhone, allowing users to generate images based on natural language commands. Image Wand is another addition similar to Image Playground that works in the Notes app. The new Genmoji addition will allow the iPhone to create custom emojis, which will offer users more ways to express themselves. There is also a new addition called Visual Intelligence, allowing the iPhone to provide information after a user points the device’s camera at an object or a place.
There is a boatload of additional improvements in the latest iOS 18.2 beta 4 for your iPhone, which you can check out for yourself. We will update the post with more details as soon as developers are done tinkering with the latest build.
